Should I sign up as an Influencer or an Expert?
If you are an influencer, journalist, writer, author or thought leader looking to gain insight, interview or quote experts for your article, blog, podcast, paper or any other piece of content, sign up as an Influencer. Influencers can request for expertise in certain fields, industries or niches in a defined geographical location.
If you have a specialty and have in-depth experience or knowledge in your field, industry or niche, sign up as an Expert. You can share your expertise with the rest of the world by responding to Influencer queries and by contributing to any piece of content by providing quotes, interviews and more.
We are currently not supporting a single account for both Influencers and Experts.
What are your community guidelines?
We want to ensure we provide the best experience possible for our users. As such, we established a few community guidelines that need your attention:
- No AI generated content on the platform: We want to establish authenticity on the platform and as such we are banning all AI generated content.
- Multiple spam reports may result in account suspension: If we receive multiple reports of spam emanating from an account, we may suspend that account. Account suspensions will be informed in writing by email. Any paid subscriptions will be canceled at the end of the payment term and no prorated refunds will be provided.
- Reports of abuse may result in a permanent ban on the platform: If we receive any reports of abuse emanating from an account, we may suspend that account. Account suspensions will be informed in writing by email. Any paid subscriptions will be canceled at the end of the payment term and no prorated refunds will be provided.
- Incorrect spam reports from an account may result in account suspension: If we receive multiple reports of requests or responses being incorrectly marked as spam, we may suspend that account. Account suspensions will be informed in writing by email. Any paid subscriptions will be canceled at the end of the payment term and no prorated refunds will be provided.
- Be respectful of each other: We want our users to find the best possible opportunities through our platform in their professional careers! So help us help you by being respectful of each other.
How can I get my account verified?
We are introducing new ways to get your account verified automatically but until then, our team will manually verify every single account on the platform. Eventually, we will ask you to confirm that you own the Twitter, LinkedIn and Email addresses that were provided as part of account creation. Without this confirmation, we may suspend your account until you verify your account.
I don't have a professional email, how can I sign up?
Please email [email protected] with the subject “No professional email” with an explanation of why you don’t have one and our support team will do our best to assist you in your query.
How much does it cost to join ExpertFind?
ExpertFind is completely free for influencers, including journalists! We want to encourage influencers while reviving the journalism industry so this is our way of helping out.
For experts, the platform is currently free on a limited tier. We are working on monthly payment options that will unlock significantly more platform usage at a reasonable and affordable price.
How can I report spam requests or responses?
For every request by an Influencer or a response from an Expert, we provide a spam button. Click on this button and our support team will be notified. We will handle the rest and remove any content that is determined to be spam.
I don't have Twitter or LinkedIn, how can I sign up?
For now, we ask that you sign up with your company’s Twitter or LinkedIn profile. We are actively working on verification policies to avoid nefarious actors from abusing the platform and we intend to confirm that you own a LinkedIn profile.
As such, we strongly encourage you to create a LinkedIn account and use this account to create an Influencer or Expert account on ExpertFind to avoid any platform bans in the future. How can I report abuse on the platform?
